Project Community Connect – May 17, 2016

Medford will be having its 8th Annual Project Community Connect on Tuesday, May 17th from 9 AM to 3:30 PM at the Jackson County Expo (please note the location change)This is a one-day event that provides services and referrals for people in a homeless situation.

We are looking for veterinarians and experienced veterinary assistants/technicians who can volunteer their services for part or all of the day. Performing exams on dogs (and some cats), administering vaccines and applying flea and tick control will be the majority of our work. We can treat whatever ailments come up with whatever medications we happen to have on hand that day.

If anyone would like to donate core vaccines and/or flea and tick products, we would be very appreciative. In addition, ear and eye medications, pain medication, antibiotics, and medicated shampoos are always needed.

If you are interested in helping, please contact Julie Tavares by e-mail (drjulie@homepetvet.net) or cell 541-761-6163.
