August RVVMA meeting: SAVE the DATE

Please save the date for a special August RVVMA meeting, which will occur on Sunday,  August 7,  and will be an all-day event featuring the frank communication program sponsored by Zoetis. Time and location TBD.

Further details about the program from Zoetis’ website:

The frank:™ Communication Series offers veterinarians expert guidance on enriching the veterinarian-client-patient interaction which is at the very heart of a successful clinical practice.

More than 30 years of research in medical communication demonstrates the value of implementing shared decision-making into client communication. The evidence shows improved clinical outcomes, including compliance, and increased client and veterinarian satisfaction.

The frank:™ Communication Series offers workshops designed to help veterinarians enhance their communication skills in the same fashion as they would learn any other skill – they are taught the concepts and then practice them in a clinical setting.
